Prepare for Your Consultation
If you’re not very computer Savvy here are some tips for being prepared for your appointment.
Zoom is a video conferencing tool. It’s simple and easy to use and it’s going to allow us to see each other. It is important that you turn your video on for our call. Why? You will be able to see your Designer and get a sense of who they are and get to know them better. At the same time, your designer needs to be able to see you. We want to establish a good relationship from the beginning. Our goal is to help you make the best decisions as we build your home together.

Houzz and Pinterest are idea capturing tools. In the year 2000, when we started designing kitchens & baths, glossy magazines were the best resource for gathering ideas of style, function, and layout to discuss during consolations. Often homeowners would spend years gathering clippings as they dreamed about their future remodel. Now the internet is our friend. Design, architectural, construction, and manufacturing companies have posted photos of their completed projects and inspirations for you to use as a research tool in learning about their company. These images are a resource for you to save inspirations for your own digital Ideabook or Pin Board on Houzz or Pinterest. Designers use these tools during consultations to get to know your desires better. Spending about an hour (per room) online to save images of your style helps our Design team meet you where you are and match your personal style to your home.
