Materials Coordination

Upon approving your selections, your Designer processes all materials orders through Design Set Match within one business week of authorization and receipt of the material deposits. Or we work with your General Contractor’s timing to give a final review of the quotes before they place the order on your behalf,

Design Set Match maintains a current business license for the city of El Cerrito and a resale license for the state of California and manufacturer’s dealer accounts to provide our clients with their kitchen and bathroom materials directly. To keep our markup at a minimum, we have time in our agreements to process, coordinate, receive, deliver, open, and inspect orders placed on behalf of our clients.

In our experience, contractors and their trades often delay ordering promptly and opening the boxes as soon as they arrive. We expect some materials to come damaged or be incorrect. Our team checks everything as soon as it arrives, reducing possible delays these occurrences may cause. If something is incorrect or damaged, our team alerts the manufacturer immediately and places appropriate reorders. Without materials coordination, plumbers and electricians often open boxes for the first time as they’re ready to install the item, leaving the completion timing of your project unknown. Our goal is for all finished materials to be on-site and ready before construction is scheduled.
