After six years of kitchen islands, garage desks, and guest bedroom setups, the Design Set Match team is finally back together — under one roof!
When the world shifted in March 2020, we did what everyone did: we adapted. Alisa set up shop in her garage, Irma made the kitchen island her command center, and Allyson transformed her guest bedroom into a full-time workspace. And honestly? We made it work. Our clients were served, projects moved forward, and the team stayed connected across miles of video calls and shared screens. We're proud of what we built — and rebuilt — during those years apart.
But there's something that remote work simply can't replicate: the energy of being in the same room.
A Space That Fits Who We Are
Our new office is cozy and bright — exactly the kind of environment that inspires good design thinking. We have a small conference room where ideas can take shape in real time, and our sample library is right at our fingertips: cabinet doors, countertop materials, and more, all within reach when we need them most.
The space is fully accessible and tucked into a great neighborhood, just down the block from Fat Apples — a local favorite we're already planning to frequent.
What We're Looking Forward To
Working remotely kept us productive, but it put some invisible friction into our workflow — the kind you don't fully notice until it's gone. Being together in person means we can bounce ideas off each other the moment inspiration strikes, problem-solve on the fly, and get to know one another in the small, everyday ways that build a truly cohesive team.
For our clients, this translates directly into a smoother experience. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do at Design Set Match, and being back in the same space means our curated design palettes and creative process can come together with even more intention and ease.
